This is a mocktail that I’ve been wanting to make for a very, very long time. I’ve been looking for a reason to make a sunrise mocktail with a little flare, and here it is.

Edible silver glitter, a black rim, and a not-so-classic sunrise mocktail give all the Quicksilver vibes, and I’m here for it.

Let’s talk about what you need to make this mocktail, shall we?

    You’ll need:

Lime wedge - for rimming your glass so that the salt will stick.
Black salt - margarita salt is fine, any black salt will work for rimming your class.
Ice - enough to fill your low ball glass.
Pineapple juice - for the color and flavor. Orange, or mango juice works just as well!
Kombucha - ginger ale or sparkling water also works!
Grenadine syrup - you can get that right here. It adds that nice sunrise effect and adds flavor.
Silver glitter - of the edible, food grade sort. You can get it here.

    Prep Time: 5 minutes minutes
    Total Time: 5 minutes minutes
    Course: Mocktail
    Cuisine: Alcohol-free
Keyword: All 7 Gods Mocktail, Book Club Mocktail, Quicksilver Mocktail
    Servings: 1 person

    Ingredients

    • 1 sliced lime wedge for rimming your glass
    • 2 tbsp black salt for rimming your glass
    • 1 scoop ice or enough to fill your glass
    • 2 oz pineapple juice
    • 2 oz kombucha ginger ale, or sparkling water
    • 1 oz grenadine or use one pump
    • ½ tsp silver glitter food grade, edible glitter

    Instructions

    • Rim a short glass with a lime wedge and dip it into the black salt.
    • Fill your glass with ice and then add the pineapple juice, your mixer of choice (kombucha, ginger ale, or sparkling water) until it’s almost full.
    • Next add the grenadine by drizzling it over the back of the spoon to give it that “sunrise” effect.
    • Sift a little bit of edible silver glitter on top to finish it off.
    • Stir to combine (or leave it dusted on top). Just know that after you stir it the drink will turn silver. Or *quicksilver*.

This recipe is just the *flare* my mocktail game needed! The Quicksilver vibes are STRONG, though Im slightly worried about my glass turning into a metallic puddle after stirring. Still, that edible silver glitter sounds like the ultimate party trick – Watch this drink turn into *quicksilver*! Black salt rimming, check. Grenadine pour for that sunrise effect, double check. Now, where did I put that food grade glitter...? Definitely pinning this for when I need to impress someone with a shimmering, non-alcoholic sunrise!
