Cheers to drinking yourself healthier! This Dandelion Detox Mocktail is a sweet, non-alcoholic drink that you can enjoy and add to your beauty routine

Let’s trade hangovers and dry skin for real hydration and health, shall we? With this Dandelion Detox Mocktail, you can do just that! While you enjoy all the health benefits that dandelion has to offer, you can think of it more like a tropical treat.

Dandelion tea - Now, on its own, dandelion can be pretty…bitter? Not exactly the most tasty? Therefore, we’re drinking this in delicious mocktail form. We’re adding other beneficial ingredients so that we can sip and enjoy.
Honey - to sweeten it up a bit.
Pineapple juice - oddly enough, the tropical flavors of pineapple make the dandelion tea quite enjoyable to drink! You can swap the pineapple for orange juice if you'd like.
Lemon juice - just a squeeze from a wedge. For brightness and for the health benefits. Lemon juice is quite delicious and hydrating.

The process is simple, though.
First you're going to make the tea, and add the honey.
Let it cool off.
Add it to a glass with some ice, then top with the pineapple juice and a squeeze of a lemon wedge.
That's it! It's one of the easiest functional mocktails you can make in under 5 minutes.

Dandelion is a powerhouse of an herb. While many consider it a pesky week, I’d urge you to see this humble little plant for the star that it is!
Here are a few things to consider about dandelion (none of this is medical advice, by the way, I just love herbs!):
- Liver detoxification - traditionally this herb has been used to help support your body in flushing out toxins, therefore it can help your liver and digestion.
- Kidney support - when you drink dandelion tea (which is the base of this drink) it acts as a gentle diuretic, helping reduce bloating and again, supporting the detox of toxins.
- Blood sugar regulation - dandelion has been used by herbalists for centuries to support blood sugar regulation by improving insulin sensitivity.

Mocktails are alcohol-free drinks, often delicious, and mine typically have some functional benefits. My motto is that you should drink yourself healthy, hydrated, and beautiful rather than hung over and strung out! Cheers!
