Strawberry Cocktail Syrup

Equipment

  • 1 fine mesh strainer
  • 1 mason jar or other glass jar

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup diced strawberries thawed if frozen
  • 1 cup water
  • Optional: lemon peels

Instructions

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, simmer all of the ingredients together.
  • Put the lid on the pan and turn the heat down to low. Stir occasionally for 10-15 minutes.
  • Strain into a glass jar with a fine mesh strainer.
  • When cooled, screw the lid on tightly and save in the fridge for up to one month. Enjoy using this strawberry syrup in cocktails!

Notes

Cool and then put the lid on tightly and store in the fridge for up to one month.
