¼cupbrown sugar
¼ cupwater
¼cupsoy sauce*low sodium
1tbspfresh lime juice
1tbsprice vinegar
1tbspcornstarch
½tspred pepper flakes
½tspground ginger
Instructions
PREP THE CHICKEN
Pat your chicken wings dry and add them to a bowl with the olive oil and seasoned salt and toss until coated.
AIR FRY CHICKEN
Spray the bottom of your air fryer with cooking spray until well coated. Place the chicken wings in a layer (they shouldn't be touching), and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray. Close the air fryer and set it to "air fry" for 20 minutes, flipping each wing halfway through. You may need to work in batches to cook all 20 wings.
FOR THE TERIYAKI SAUCE
For the teriyaki sauce, simply place all ingredients into a small sauce pan over medium heat and whisk until bubbly and thick (about 3-5 minutes). Remove from heat.
FOR SERVING
Toss the cooked chicken wings in the teriyaki sauce, top with sesame seeds (if desired), and serve.
Notes
Chicken wings are best served hot and I do not recommending saving and serving later or making them ahead of time. If you wish to save them, I recommend storing them in an airtight container for up to three days and reheating them in the air fryer on "air fry" for 3-5 minutes. **Nutrition facts are calculated automatically.
