Ingredients

  • ½ cup raw cashews soaked for 2 hours or boiled for 10 minutes
  • ½ cup filtered water
  • 2 tbsp plant-based butter melted
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp kala namak mineral salt linked in blog post
  • ¼ tsp turmeric
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 lemon juiced

Instructions

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor until completely smooth.
  • Add the mix to a saucepan and heat until warm (about five minutes).

Notes

*If you're not planning to serve the hollandaise sauce right away, it can be saved in an airtight container after blending.  But be sure to heat as directed before serving.
*If you don't have black salt, you can use regular salt, but it will compromise the flavor a bit.
