Vegan Hollandaise Sauce
Vegan hollandaise sauce is elegant, flavorful, and tastes just like the real thing with a few plant-based tricks.
- 1/2 cup raw cashews soaked for 2 hours or boiled for 10 minutes
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 2 tbsp plant-based butter melted
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp kala namak mineral salt linked in blog post
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 lemon juiced
*If you're not planning to serve the hollandaise sauce right away, it can be saved in an airtight container after blending. But be sure to heat as directed before serving.
*If you don't have black salt, you can use regular salt, but it will compromise the flavor a bit.
