Let me tell you how matcha I love this latte…
Okay, I promise I won’t say that again in this post
It’s naturally sweetened, contains just a handful of ingredients that you probably have on hand except for possibly the matcha green tea powder, but no worries you can get that right here.

WHAT IS MATCHA
Matcha is simply powdered tea and it’s pretty trendy–for good reason! Like many trends, I’m into it. Matcha has a ton of health benefits, however I try not to go overboard on this trend because one cup contains almost three times the caffeine of a normal cup of green tea. If you’re sensitive to caffeine (I am), that’s something to consider.
YOU DON’T NEED A BAMBOO BRUSH TO MAKE THIS EASY LATTE
You might see your barista whipping the matcha and water with a bamboo brush until it’s frothy, but my version doesn’t require anything like that. I just use a blender and that works for me. It comes out perfectly frothy and tastes a lot like the cafe versions. Plus, to be honest, that last thing I need rolling around in my small kitchen is a random bamboo brush for frothing a specialty drink. I’m a minimalist kitchen kind of girl, all about investing in few, but quality, kitchen tools.
CAN YOU MAKE THIS MATCHA LATTE WITHOUT A BLENDER
Yup, if you don’t have a blender, don’t worry. Just combine the water and the matcha powder in a mason jar and shake it really hard for about thirty seconds. Yes, I’m serious – it works!
